As i dwell among the memories of 2008, i'm just awed at what God has done for me this year.
and my guitar skillz also have improved by 9000.

i've been meaning to update, honest.
its just, everytime i put it off, i've got so many more things to update on, so i'll just cut out all the unimportant details and cut to the chase.
i'm in AUZHOU, in case you havent noticed. in sydney to be precise. having alot of fun, but also missing the fun back home.
i'll be back next monday, slack for a day and go for camp on wednesday. shag sia. haha, after camp, the hols will be pretty much gone, with Christmas and all the other december things.
haha next year is scary, i better study hard

today was fun, played ultimatefrisbee, had caroling prac, and then came home.
frisbee was quite fun, alott of people came, we shd hv some regular ultimate fellowship one day, with teams and all.
played for worship today, one thing that struck me during worship was focus.
focus, whether on or off, can be a real deciding factor in leading others into worship, i found that when i was doing a certain thing, be it distracting or normal-looking, would draw faces from the congregation, so the behavior i exhibit while serving, will affect others around me and i feel the same way abt worship leaders, when i'm not on duty.
as an electric guitarist, its very difficult to be "into" the worship and meet the presence of God in the face, as we face many distractions such as remembering riffs, chord changes, whether to play or not to play for a certain song... etc. and esp for today, when bryan's bass spoilt, i wasn't sure whether to cover for him by playing the bassline, or to carry on as usual.
as we onevoice-ers have been constantly reminded to keep the music balanced, to ensure that there isn't too much bass, mids and trebles clashing with each other. i was in a real dilemma.
i soon found that my frustrated looks did not help in leading the congregation into worship, as it was unpleasent... and decided to just let go and leave it to the Holy Spirit.
it was a good learning point , and i hope with God's help, i will continue to grow as a Christian, a worshiper, a musician and as a person in whole through experience.
